I was impressed with something during worship service yesterday morning as we sang one of my favorite songs. As the very familiar words flowed across my mind I realized something in a different way than before. I just sort of heard down in my spirit… “You, above all that have gone before you are the most blessed.”

As I thought about that I saw a picture of the birth of Christ but the focus wasn’t on the manger, it was from much higher up and I could see all of the land surrounding Bethlehem.

“You are blessed to witness what Israel looked for from the very beginning, what Abraham, Isaac and Jacob longed for. You are blessed to have been grafted into Israel because of Christ. You have been given the witness of the arrival of Israel’s Messiah in My Word and now you look forward to His second coming. But your greatest blessing, what you celebrate at this time of year, what you have every moment of your life is the greatest blessing of all.
