It is the vision of this ministry to see the Bride of Christ walk with God with a repentant and obedient heart and a never-ceasing hunger for His presence in her daily lives. Without that desire her time here on earth is destined to fall far short of His best. Walking with Jesus is the most exciting and rewarding part of becoming a Christian. So many simply come to the altar and believe in God, receiving Him as Savior but never opening up to make Him Lord. We were not called by the Master to remain at the foot of the Cross – the Cross is just the beginning.
When He truly becomes Lord, a whole new life opens up. He has an untold number of wonders to show us in this life and throughout eternity. It is our passion that you not lose one minute of the joy that walking with Him brings into your life. This ministry is dedicated to helping all who desire it to establish a personal, individual and fulfilling walk with Jesus. The key to that walk is to become intimate with the one you are walking, putting your trust in God and your faith in God, recognizing that it’s a lifetime commitment – it’s a long distance marathon and not a sprint.
Many years of mistakes have ultimately taught me that the most elementary part of walking with someone is to … walk with them. Not in front, not behind but right alongside. Being human we somehow seem to forget that’s the will of God for our life, and many times we are surprised when we stop hearing His voice. Those times in the valley alone have taught me to stop and look for the Master, keep my eye on Him and match His pace, which somehow always seems to be just right. For that reason these three scriptures underpin this ministry:
- Matt 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
- Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him and sup with him, and he with Me.
- Rom 8:29 For whom He foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among man brethren.
